SYNOPSIS

« Shoals are shallow waters of little depth
that pose dangers to maritime navigation. »

During one entire fishing season on the waters of the St-Lawrence, three captains make us discover the ups and downs of a changing industry. Passionate shrimp, crab, lobster and halibut fishermen, our captains are steadfast lovers of the sea that work hard to chase an often-elusive resource. In the world of these men, fishing is a traditional trade that is passed from father to son, for the better or the worse.
